Born in Philadelphia, raised in Texas, Nicole Obert brings a little bit of that southern charm to the industry. After chasing her dream to New York City in 2007, Nicole spent 5 years mastering her craft with world renown stylist Nick Arrojo. Now, with over 9 years in the business Nicole has traveled the world cutting hair and sharing trends on some of the industry’s biggest stages. Whether it’s razor cutting, men’s cuts, curly hair, or bobs; when asked what she specializes in, Nicole replies “hair is hair, I specialize in it all.” Nicole’s accomplishments include a third, second, and first place finish in the Wella Trend Vision Awards; which led her to represent the United States at Trend Vision International. Nicole was runner up on Bravo’s Shear Genius: Season 2. In 2009 she was nominated for the Fashion Forward category of NAHA and International Hairstylist of the Year for the Canadian Mirror Awards in 2010. In 2012, She became a member of the Wella Artistic Design Team. Nicole is also an editorial stylist and has been seen styling hair during New York’s Fashion Week for labels such as Blanc De Chine, St. John, and Nanette LePore.
When she’s not behind the chair, or teaching other hairstylists, Nicole enjoys grabbing a drink with friends, and maybe even a little karaoke. Her most favorite place in the world is the beach and she tries to get there as often as she can. Nicole lives in Verona NJ with her husband Jaime, a fashion and beauty photographer, and their dog Kevin.
Dina Graduated from Capri Institute of Cosmetology in 1988. She worked at LeShoppe in West Orange and trained with the owner Anthony Novello for 2 ½ years as his personal assistant. She continued her career at Deici in Livington (formerly LeShoppe). She trained assistants in both salons. She also worked at Melandre in Nutley. She has a Certificate in training from Salon DaDa in N.Y.C., is certified in the GKhair Taming system, has had classes with Oribe of NYC and Kim Vo of LA, and various other classes in haircutting, styling and color. When she is not working in the salon, she enjoys spending time with her children, exercising, cooking, decorating, and exploring her creativity.
At a young age she had passion for doing hair. Her dolls had a wide variety of styles. After high school, when it came to career choice, hair was no doubt Lisa’s first choice with psychology her second choice. As hair designer she discovered psychology automatically included in the cosmetology field. To advance herself in her field she has trained with Tony Guy, redken, Sassoon, Wella, Matrix and many more.
As a highly acclaimed master hair extensionist, Lisa has a passion for helping woman with a variety of hair thinning problems and/or giving someone long luxurious hair they always wanted. Lisa can give you the most natural look desired.
Her first choice of extensions is Great Lengths the 2012 winner of the Stylish Choice Awards. Great Lengths uses 100% human hair with a patented process of quality that goes way beyond all other extensions.
Lisa is certified in the Micro Dot, Blending Strand and other integration processes that can give you an unlimited styling potential. Her work has been seen on the cover of Modern Salon Magazine and on televisions Split Ends. She has done hair extensions for MTV Awards and runway models.
With over 25 years experience in precision cutting, styling skills and hair color design, Lisa pushes the boundaries of creativity beyond your expectations. From salon manager to educator to platform artist and eyelash extensions… and much more, Lisa has a fuel for passion to create what you never knew possible.
Lisa has notably made her way through New York City and now has made a home at the Anthony Robert Salon. You too can experience her unique technique and her commitment and dedication to each client. At the end of the day, Lisa jumps on her Harley, goes home to her family and calls it a day!
Welcome Lori Borino
Kristen’s passion and specialties are color, extensions, and formal styling. She trained for 3 years at Depasquale The Spa in Morris Plains, NJ. She has extended her cutting, color and high-lighting techniques with Lakme, Goldwell, and Framesi. She is also certified in Aqua and Hair Treat Extensions, Bio Ionic Permanent Retexturizing and GKhair Taming system. When not in the salon creating, Kristen enjoys quality time with family and friends.
Jeff’s passion for hair is fueled by his heart, not his ego, and a desire to assist in helping you to discover your best self. Decades of hair trends, ranging from the ’20s to today’s contemporary looks, inspire his creativity. His desire to grow as a stylist has led him to follow the latest color techniques from companies such as Framesi and Lakme. His has been certified in the GKhair Taming system and Bio Ionic, has had a Vidal Sassoon color and cutting class and a J.Beverly Hills cutting class. Jeff is experienced in special occasion, fashion/runway, and television and can also be seen doing hair as a cast member of the Style Network’s “Jerseylicious”. He is a proud artist with a love of beauty and transformation. When he is not behind the chair he enjoys spending time in great restaurants and lounges with his trendy friends in NYC!
Rose graduated Concord Cosmetology and trained at Bangz in-house training program for 3 years. She successfully completed courses in Sexy Hair Concept Knowledge in 2006; Wella fundamental 2006; Geno Stampora’s Retailing seminar 2007; Logics fundamental 2007; Framesi fundamental 2007; Balayage Hair Painting 2008; Artego Color Knowledge 2009; Keratin Complex Hair certification 2010; Brazilian Blow Out certification 2010; Intermediate Cutting certification 2010; Foundation Cutting certification 2010; Chi Enviro certification 2011; GK Keratin certification 2012.
She loves participating in Volunteer events and programs, such as the MS Cut-a-thon April 2008, Men’s Confidential Evening June 2008, and a variety of AIDS programs and charities. She is an outgoing, spontaneous person, who enjoys life to the fullest. Rose enjoys spending time with her family, as well as going to the gym.
Tracy DiMarco started in this business when she attended Artistic Academy, a modern, state-of-the-art beauty academy that provided the most advanced training in salon management, marketing and state licensing skills in all aspects of hair, skin and nails. During beauty school, DiMarco worked as an assistant at Bella Pia Salon in East Hanover, N.J. Three short months later, she was promoted to senior stylist at the salon while juggling her full-time class schedule! Two years later, she applied for a job at The Gatsby Salon in Greenbrook, N.J., where she was cast as a main character on Jerseylicious, the #1 show on Style Network! After 2 years on and off at Gatsby Salon she now works full time at the new, fully redone, modern beauty boutique, Anthony Robert Salon in the heart of Verona, NJ!! She is a very dedicated, determined & driven hairstylist and plans on building a legacy in the beauty industry. Despite what you may see on Jerseylicious, DiMarco is a sweet personable and caring hairdresser who we can only say is misunderstood!! Karla Serrano is a rising star in the world of hair and makeup. In just a few short years Karla’s work has graced the covers of magazines, such as Metropolis Magazine and Stepping Out. Karla has done photo shoots with various celebrities from “Real House Wives of NJ”, “Real House Wives of DC”, “Mob Wives” and “Jerseylicous”. Karla has taken advanced education in cutting, styling, color and makeup. Paul Mitchell’s color and cutting class, Farouk Cutting System, and Hair styling with Vivienne Mackinder are just a few of the many classes she has taken. She is also certified in extensions and the GKhair Taming system. In her spare time, she likes to take fitness classes such as Yoga and Pilates and also loves spending time with her family.
